This has been an incredible project from start to finish. If you’re anything like me, buying and riding motorcycles is something you think about all day. When this new generation of the Panigale V4 came out with the winter livery, it’s all I wanted. It was never going to be an option purchasing new, but when I came across the auction on Copart.com and saw that it could easily be rebuilt I knew I had to have it. After a firey bidding war, I won and immediately had it shipped from California to Georgia. Within days of receiving it, I started the rebuild process. I got to know the parts department at my local Ducati dealer very well. Pictures of the condition exactly after it was dropped off from the auction are below.

Cold Startup
Damage from the previous owner’s accident:
I’m assuming the bike highsided and then flipped. This caused damage mostly on the top and back
Subframe was cracked up and forward. It looks like he crashed at the track judging from the dirt and grass on handlebars and levers. There was almost no rash/scrape marks from asphalt.
The taillight and rear bodywork were gone
Tank was dented only in the back center section
Brake lever was slightly bent, but not scraped at all…very interesting. I even left that alone and is still on the bike as-is. Working perfectly. I could easily replace if you’d like. Nobody has made a shorty lever for the Brembo MCS yet, and that’s what I’m waiting for.
Windscreen was cracked.
Both wings were gone.

This is a list of all the parts I replaced oem or upgraded. If you are familiar with Jaret Campisi and his youtube channel, then you will know where these parts came from. I saw the V4SP that he used as a project last year and immediately contacted him for all the parts he removed from that bike. The parts on this bike are literally the ones Jaret took off in those videos. Since he does so much of his work with Motomillion.com, he referred me there. Then I ordered additional upgraded carbon pieces from MotoMillion, MotoComposites, and a few other sites.
New parts, both OEM Ducati and Upgraded Aftermarket:
Subframe (Campisi)
All stock bodywork; tail, front fairing, side panels, belly pan, both wings (Campisi)
Windscreen
Carbon bits: front and rear mudguards, rear locker cover, exhaust cover, clutch cover
New OEM seat
All new wiring from the connectors under the tank all the way back
this includes a new GPS unit and DDA unit
Aella frame sliders
Taillight from Shift-tech.com
rear turn signals with license plate bracket from futrismoto.com
Also went with the front turn signals with mirror block offs from futrismoto. This guy makes the best billet aluminum parts for these bikes.
I tried multiple mirror options. The stock ones are just to big, bar end mirrors just don’t work, so I finally decided on the Rizoma blade mirrors. Had to get their additional turn signals as well, so you get both. Up to you if you want to switch back.
Ordered a new V4S fuel tank and stripped the paint. I hand scraped the raw aluminum and added a little artistry before having it clear coated. You’ll notice this one is high gloss versus the OEM satin finish. I also scraped the Ducati logo into the raw metal for some subtle creativity. You get both the new tank (installed) and the old repaired tank. Just in case you ever need another tank.
I put new Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3’s when I took it into the local DucShop (WOW Motorcycles, Mark Sutton and team). I also have a new set of V4’s on order from a previous credit with them. The V4’s just came out.
This Ducati service shop is incredible. They are constantly going through Ducati’s specialist training. Their team went through this bike top to bottom, front to back and made sure everything is in perfect condition.
The bike also went through the proper local county inspection to receive a newly rebuilt title. It is currently registered and insured.

Bonifab Customs repaired the original tank in this video. That tank is included with the sale as an additional piece. A new tank has been replaced.
